Visitors to the lounge will find deals on travel- and lifestyle-related products and services, travel-related tips, blogs, destination details and a library of information to help them while they’re out on the road.
BCD Travel’s April Bridgeman, senior vice president for Strategic Marketing & Technology Planning, says, “The goal of the lounge is to enhance the traveler experience in a way that benefits both the travel program and the traveler. The Business Travel Lounge can make travel a more enjoyable experience and bolster the traveler’s support of the travel program.”
The Business Travel Lounge is not a static, one-way Web site. Discounts and services available will be updated regularly so that travelers may find something new that interests them every time they visit. Blog subjects will include destination information and hot topics for travelers in today’s ever-changing travel environment. Visitors to the lounge are encouraged to leave comments and feedback on blog posts.
The offers and services available through the lounge are of particular benefit to business travelers, including TripIt Pro discounts, inflight Wi-Fi, Park ‘N Fly discounts, and much more. The offers will not include air, hotel, car, rail or online booking vendors, to avoid any potential conflict of interest with client-preferred suppliers.
