The 158-bedroom Copthorne Hotel Sheffield is due to open its doors in November this year. The hotel, located on Bramall Lane next to Sheffield United Football Club, will operate under the Copthorne brand, adding to the existing UK portfolio of 14 properties. The hotel will also add to the group's success of having hotels at well-known football grounds – these include Millennium Madejski Hotel Reading and Millennium & Copthorne Hotels at Chelsea Football Club, where guests have use of both the hotel and the stadium.

Guests can enjoy the luxury of having in room high speed internet access ideal for the business traveler and interactive TV and entertainment systems. The hotel also features an on–site car park, a restaurant, a Lounge Bar and Bistro, a 65-station gym and conference and banqueting rooms.
